Wow! Dad brought me a new toy. I can’t pick it up like my jolly ball, but it rolls better in the snow. I sure wish the other horses were home to play too. I get lonely some times, but Dad pays a lot of attention to me. He scratches my back, throws by ball for me to chase, and he gives me yummy apple treats. Mom is kind of strange. She is always pointing a strange black box at me. It makes a funny beeping sound. Then she says, “a good shot!” Maybe when the older horses get home they can translate some of my human foster parents confusing language. I know my name, they call me Bella, and I know “whoa darn it” but that is a far as it goes. I guess that’s not too bad, I am only eight and a half months old. I will let you know when I learn more, and figure out my place around here.

A Special Thanks to fellow author Tom Mach!
Tom Mach author of “Angels at Sunset” wrote a very nice blurb on Sox tale.
An award winning and prolific author, I am pleased that he took the time to read Sox second edition due for release in March. You can find Tom’s works on Amazon, and read some of the excerpts. Angels at Sunset is due out about the same time as Backyard Horse Tales / Sox (second edition)
You can read excerpts of Sox’s expanded tale as well as soon to be released other tales at http://jackieanton.com. Like, rate, and leave a comment. -
